Azeez Fashola, the Marlian Music director popularly known as Naira Marley, has charged well-known actress, Iyabo Ojo with dissemination of misleading and libellous content against him on the internet.
Naira Marley’s lawyer, Olalekan Ojo, had sent a letter to the actress, outlining the accusations she made in a September 2023 post on her official Instagram page.
The letter stated that the actress accused Naira Marley of participating in spiritual and physical dealings with the deceased singer, Mohbad.
Naira Marley’s lawyer had also said that the actress blamed Naira Marley for mentally harming the late singer.
Naira Marley’s attorney is, according to the letter, seeking a rectification of N500 million from the actress, and a public apology to be posted on her Instagram page and published in a national news daily 7 days from today.
The letter further revealed that failure to comply to the conditions placed would force Naira Marley and his lawyer to file a lawsuit against her.
