Nigerians have taken to their social media platform to blast super eagles goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho over his fantastic performance for Omonia Nicosia in the Manchester United Europa league match against the Cypriot side.
The game was very tough, as Manchester United despite having strong possession of the ball, could not utilize their chances Uzoho frustrated their every single move to score, as he saved up to 12 shots for Omonia until Mc Tominay was able to get a shot past him, as he scored the winning goal for United at the 93rd minute.
Uzoho’s performance, unfortunately, brought back painful memories to Nigerians, as they remember that Nigeria won’t get to feature in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar after losing to Ghana in the qualifiers.
Several Nigerians, blasted Uzoho for not putting up such a performance in the qualifiers, as Nigerians believed that Uzoho could have prevented that shot from Ghanian player, Thomas Partey
