Almeria’s head coach said that he’s very scared at the prospects of Umar Sadiq leaving his club to another club this summer before the transfer market closes. Sadiq was very fantastic for Almeria last season, as he scored 18 goals and 12 assists in 36 la Liga games. Sadiq has started this season with a very impressive performance after scoring his first goal for the season in the match between Almeria and Elche which ended in a 1-1 draw

There are several reports that Villarreal is very interested in the Sadiq, and are even working on signing the player from Almeria before the transfer market closes next week.  Real Sociedad are also interested in Sadiq as they consider him a perfect replacement for Alexander Isak who moved to Newcastle United.

Reports also have it that, Sadiq might transfer to Sociedad, speaking on this, Rubi in an interview has voiced out his fear, concerning other clubs’ interest in Sadiq he is earnestly anticipating September 1st when the transfer window closes.

Rubi was honest on the transfer market: “I’m having a really bad time these days. I’m afraid that any team will come and take away players from me. I look forward to September 1.”
